HaPpy FatHeR's DaY! (Belated)

I know it's a little late, but I still wanted to let Bryce know what a great Daddy I think he is. Bryce is so good with our little girls. He helps out all of the time. He does things that I know a lot of dad's wont do...like Bryce will actually get up with the girls in the middle of the night, after I kick him! Hahaha! Bryce plays so cute with the girls too. He'll get down and wrestle, play hide and seek, play daddy monster, (the only way to make him leave is to give him a kiss) Sometimes when Bryce comes home from work, he has little stickers and other doctor office bribe toys for the girls. He also brings them little goodies after his trips that he often has to take. Bryce is such a great fun dad that when the girls are in trouble...they call for dad to save them! Not only is Bryce a great dad, but he is a wonderful husband too. He's always there for me no matter what it is. If I need him to listen to me or if I need him to do laundry and vacuum, he does it. I know I would like to think that I do everything, that I have it all together, but the truth is Bryce is half the reason I still function every morning! Thanks for everything, I love you!

An Early Start on Father's Day!

Today we went to Robert's and bought some finger paint! We decided to paint up the garage as a surprise for Bryce! The girls loved it, and it took a long time! So if you are looking for some fun...I highly recommend it!

Twilight Depression!

Recently, I read all three of Stephanie Meyers Twilight books. It took me two weeks, but I couldn't put them down! Now that I am done, I'm in a Twilight depression! I can't get enough of it! I dream about the books, and when I'm lost deep in thought, I'm thinking about the books! I think I'm insane! I only just read them because I thought I wouldn't like them because they're about vampires...I don't do science fiction, but I LOVE these books! I'm so engrossed that I even compare Bryce to Edward. The other day, we were buying a new rake...I was on a different aisle than Bryce. He said, "Come here Slick!" to me. My response was, "Edward would never talk to Bella like that!" I think I have officially lost my mind! I'm not even sure who I like more, Jacob or Edward...I'm totally torn! On one hand I want Bella to be with Jacob just because it's more logical. It works out better for Bella and her family...On the other hand, I like Edward because they're so in love...All of you who have read these books, please leave a comment and tell me who you like...Jacob or Edward? It's official, I've posted about it now...I'm crazy!

Humdrum Day

Let me just tell you how sick of the cold weather I am! Today was a stay at home day. This is what we did....We ate lunch in our Care Bear Costumes and watched The Care Bear Movie! We jumped on the couch and made a fort with the couch cushions!
We got our swimming suits on and played in the sink! That is what we did for our humdrum day!I do have to post this picture of the girls...Last night we went to a birthday party. There was a clown at the party who painted all the kids faces! The girls had a blast! Oakley asked the clown if she would be her mom! Imagine that, Oakster wants a clown for a mom! Maybe I could send her home with the clown next time! Ha.Ha.Ha!!! I do have to mention that Kaybree was especially excited about the party because CAMERON was there! :)

Dancing Queen!

Yesterday was Kaybree's Dance Recital! She did an awesome job! She had two dances, the first was ballet to "Be Our Guest" (Beauty and the Beast) and the second was tap to "Zero to Hero." (Hercules) She got a medal for all of her hard work throughout the year! Kaybree and her dancing pals!
Emma, Kaybree, Sierra, and Payten

This is Hercules "Zero to Hero" dance. Do you see the little boy in the middle? Funny, Funny! Kaybree is front row right side!

"Be Our Guest" Ballet dance

The night before the dance recital, I curled Kaybree's hair with sponge curlers. This was the first time I have ever curled her hair. She has always had curly hair on her own, but now that she's getting older, the curl is leaving! Oakley, not wanting to be left out, got curlers in her hair too! (She doesn't need any help with curl!)

Thomas the Train!

On Memorial Day, my parents took all of the grand kids on Thomas the Train! We had lots and lots of fun!
Some of us did better than others!
(Oakley is not in the picture because she is screaming off on the side!)
All in all we had a great time!
Thanks Mom and Dad!

Graduation Day!

Kaybree had her preschool graduation yesterday! I am so proud of her. She had a little speaking part and she did a great job! I can't believe how fast they really do grow up! As we drove to the community center, where the graduation was held, the song "You're Gonna Miss This" came on the radio. (If you haven't heard it, it's on my side bar, click on it and you will see why I'm such a baby!) I started bawling like a baby! I can't believe she's already going to be in kindergarten next year. Before their program started, Cameron and his mom Amber came over to us! In case you forgot Cameron is her boyfriend! Ha.Ha.Ha.! We got a picture of the two of them together! What a cute couple! Ha.Ha.Ha.! I thought it was so cute and fun. Bryce on the other hand about had a hernia! He can't believe that the boys are already coming around! He afterward proceeded to tell me how when the boys come to our house he's going to give them a hard time, maybe stare them down a bit, or get his gun out and be cleaning it, or some other intimidating method of torture! I personally think he is all talk, guess we'll see! He was nice to Cameron though!

Franco Photography!

Brooke has been doing photography for a while now. She even did my engagement pictures over eight years ago! (back before digital cameras! Don't I sound old?) She really has a natural talent! She has set up a blog for it. Please check it out and see her awesome work! Good Job Brooke!

Fun at Classic!

I know what you are thinking, "can that place really still be opened?" It is still opened and so much fun! It still has the rollerskating rink but they have added a bounce center and a playground, hence the plastic balls! We went today for a birthday party for one of our great little friends Ellie! The girls had so much fun and can't wait to go back. It's only $5 for the entire day, and they let you bring in your own food!

Weekly Recap!

Happy Anniversary to us! We had a blast all day. We started the day down town at Sanctuary Day Spa, they offer fabulous couples massages. By the time those were over, it was time for lunch. We just ate at Subway in the food court. (nothing too fancy) That is when I gave Bryce the Jazz tickets. He was soooo excited. He didn't understand that we were actually going to the game at first. He couldn't believe I was being so nice! Ha.Ha.Ha! After Lunch we went to a movie we saw Maid Of Honor. (which I thought was so funny) After the movie we did some shopping, then had dinner at Ruby River Steakhouse. Yum! Then off to the game.
I decided that I am a bad luck charm. Every time I have ever been to a game they always loose. We had lots of fun anyway. We actually met up with my parents! After eight years of marriage it's okay to have parents tag along for your anniversary! (right?)
Mother-like-Daughter or is it Daughter-like-Mother?
Girl's Night Out!
Girl's Night Out Again! Brooke wanted me to make sure I mentioned that she is in the front, there for making her bigger than the rest of us. We went to dinner and a movie. This time we saw What Happen In Vegas! It is seriously hilarious! I think I laughed the entire time!
Me having a little fun with Patrick Dempsey!

Surprise! Surprise!

Mine and Bryce's anniversary is on Friday, May 16th! Eight whole years! Anyway, Bryce and I are going to just spend the whole day together. Get massages, go to lunch, a movie, then do some shopping, and then have dinner at The Melting Pot. Well, that is what Bryce thinks! I got him (us) tickets to the Jazz game! Hee..hee! He is going to be so surprised! The only thing is, should I tell him now and let him be excited for a couple of days, or should I wait and give him the tickets at lunch on Friday?

Also, we have a loose tooth at our house! Does anyone have any cute Tooth Fairy traditions, or ideas?

Happy Mother's Day!

I know I'm a little late, but I still wanted to wish all my friends and every other mother that reads this a Happy Mother's Day. I know, as well as anyone, how hard a task mothering can be. I am so thankful for my mom and the great example she set for me. She is a wonderful person and I'm proud to call her mine. Love Ya Mom!

I also wanted to thank everyone who helped me out this last year. It was Mother's Day last year that I got sick. Everything is fine now, and all the stinkin' weight came back, (unfortunately) but all is well. Thank you to everyone who prayed and was concerned for me!

Our Little Vacation!

This week we went with Bryce to St. George! Bryce works down there often and sometimes we go with him. We seriously had so much fun! Definitely a needed break!
Bryce does however have to work. He takes the car and I take the double stroller! If your thinking that my kids are too big for the stroller, you're right, they are, but it sure beats the complaining I would have heard if I hadn't had it with me! Oh, and let me tell you, what a workout I got! We stayed at the Marriott and everywhere I went from there was all up hill! I really wanted to contact some of my St. George blog friends, (You know who you are) I feel like I know everyone so much better now. So let me know if you want me to contact you next time we come down. We could have some fun at the pool or something! Or I could walk to your house or something! Ha..Ha.Ha.!! Here are the girls in the stroller. We were about to take all those newspapers in Kaybree's hands back to the front desk. The girls woke up before us. They opened the door without us knowing, ran down the hallway and collected all of the newspapers from the doors of all the Marriott guests. I hope they didn't mind! I definitely deserve mother of the year award.
We walked to the outlet stores. They have a store there called The Bear Mill. It is similar to Build-a-bear. We picked out some bears, stuffed them with fluff, gave them love, an outfit, and then named them!

Here are the girls at the pool. We stayed at the pool for a very long time! That night we went to dinner at Chili's. While at Chili's this little old lady came up to me and said, "You have the most well behaved children! It was a pleasure dinning next to you!" I thanked her politely, but when she left, I had to laugh! Would she had said that had it been any other day? The girls were about to fall asleep in their plates! They were so tired from swimming! It did make me happy though!

Mother's Day Plans!

I was in getting ready for church today when I over heard Bryce asking the girls what they should get me for Mother's Day next week. Oakely said "A tweet" Bryce asked what kind of treat? She said "a chocolate tweet and a diet coke" Then Kaybree piped up and said, "maybe we should get her a sticky eye ball and some perfume." I couldn't help but laugh! They really know how to get to my heart! Chocolate, Diet Coke, a Sticky Eye Ball, and some Perfume! What else could a mama want?
