Mom, Me, and Muffins!!

Today Kaybree's kindergarten class had "Mom, Me, and Muffins Day" It was soo cute! I got to go into her class, we did some work together, and then we had muffins! She was super excited to show me everything she does. (even though I volunteer and am there once a week) Still the whole idea of having me to herself at school was exciting to her! I was just happy that she wasn't embarrassed of me!! I'm sure those days are coming! :)

Little Miss Attitude!

Oakley, is such a "drama queen" lately! I guess it's not fair to say lately, she has always been my "drama queen" Anyway, this picture says it all. I don't even remember what she was mad at in this picture, but it describes her attitude perfectly!
The other day, she told me she knows everything! Really? At age 3, they already think they know everything?! This was our conversation!
Oakley: I know everything mom.
Me: You do?
Oakley: Yep, I know that Santa lives at ummmm.......,
Mom, where does Santa live?
Me: The North Pole
Oakley: Oh ya, I know that Santa lives at the North Pole.
I know that Rudolph has a shiny nose.
I know I'm going to get lots of toys!
See Mom, I know everything!
Me: Yep, you sure do!
Am I in for it or what?!

Soccer Girl!

Kaybree started soccer a couple of weeks ago! She is having lots and lots of fun! I have to say, she is pretty good! She has 3 boys on her team and 5 girls. The boys usually kind of run the game, but on Saturday, Kaybree was throwing elbows left and right! She was the only girl to really get in there and kick the ball!!! Yahoo Kaybree!!!! These are the only pictures that I have so far. They were taken at practice.
Of course she has a matching bow!
Here she is with some of her teammates!
Practicing scoring!

The Dew Tour!!!!

A couple of weeks ago, our friends gave us tickets to the "Dew Tour!" It was AWESOME! Those guys are completely insane, but I didn't mind watching! We kind of felt like fish out of water while walking around down town. The crowd that the tour attracted, well.... let's just say, "We didn't fit in!" We had a great time anyway!
The pictures are not that great, but you'll get the gist!
Ailie, Kaybree, and Oakley

You have to look hard, but there is a guy doing a flip on his bike!

At one point, we were sooo close it felt like these guys were going to land on us!

I'm a...

I'm a Ferrari 360 Modena!

You've got it all. Power, passion, precision, and style. You're sensuous, exotic, and temperamental. Sure, you're expensive and high-maintenance, but you're worth it.

How To Get Sitemeter!

A bunch of you have been asking how to get sitemeter....All you do is go to www.sitemeter.com There you set up an account. It is free, unless you get the upgraded version. I just have the basic version. (actually my version has "Search Word" the basic version does not. I got lucky and signed up while they were offering it for free.) It is pretty easy just follow all their directions.

If you do not want to go private, at least change some of your settings. While I was poking around trying to figure out how to go private, I found that you can disable search engines from finding your blog! Just log into your blog, go to, customize, then go to settings, go to basic, (basic should pop up first) scroll down just a little bit and where it says, "Add your blog to our listings" switch that to NO. Then scroll down one more. It says, "let search engines find your blog" switch that to NO as well!!! And tada, crazy people from New York should not be able to find your blog!!! If you need help with anything just let me know!

I Went Private Because...

I went private because the world is full of crazies!!!
I have sitemeter on my blog. For those of you who don't know what sitemeter is, well, it is an Internet service that helps you track who is viewing your blog. It doesn't give me completely perfect information like names, but it does tell me (for example)... someone from Riverton Utah viewed my blog at 8:00am for a total of 4 min...stuff like that. It also tells me how people find my blog "referring site" or "search word" Well, last week, I clicked of search words, and someone had typed in "little girls in swim suits!" All I know is that this person is from New York, and they viewed my blog for 3min. The same day this person again searched, "little girls in swim suits," and viewed my blog for 4 min. Well you better believe I yanked every picture off the blog as fast as I could! I'm sure it's nothing, but you can't be too safe. I am wanting to believe that this was just a wake up call! I feel so much better now knowing that I have a little more control over who is viewing my blog.
P.S. on a funny note, other search words that have lead people to my blog include:
Twilight Depression, Shop a-holics, Diet Coke!
Kind of funny!

Going Private!

My family blog will be going private...Due to some strange events, I feel it necessary to go private. Let me just say tonight's family home evening will be on "Stranger Danger" Please leave me your email address so that I can invite you to view my blog. Even if you think I already have your email, please leave it anyway. I've been struggling with the idea of privacy for a while now...I like that old friends can find us here...so please don't feel stupid just leave your address! My friend gave me a good idea, I wrote down all of your addresses then deleted your comment just so you addresses aren't out there for all to see. So, know your comment was deleted on purpose!

September 11th!

This morning, before school, I was able to take the girls to the "Healing Field." It really was neat to see all of the flags flying together. I realize how very blessed we are to live in America.
On Sept. 11th, 2001, I was on my way to work, on the radio, they were talking about a plane crash, but they were not sure of any details. I got to work and immediately turned on the TV. (I worked in an ortho office. We had TVs in the ceiling above each chair.) I was watching the TV and trying to make sense of everything that was happening. Then the second airplane hit. I thought I was watching a replay, until I realized that there were two clouds of smoke. We were all glued to the TVs for the rest of the week.
I am very grateful to all that serve this country, and for their sacrifice, that my family and I might enjoy the peace and pleasures of life.
Thank You!

What's For Dinner?

So, I seem to be in a cooking rut right now. I keep making the same dinners over and over again. Those dinners include: Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken Pillows, Spaghetti, Sloppy Joe's, Parmesan Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and that's about it. Any suggestions out there???

The girls will be at school at the same time giving me at least two hours twice a week to myself!!! What am I going to do with my time??? Update

Bryn and Mark are returning today to there place in New Orleans. As most of you already know, the hurricane lost most of its power and turned into only a category two hurricane! All is well and we are definitely happy about that! :)
