Miley Cyrus Concert

This week we went to the Miley Cyrus concert. I really don't know what to say about it.....let's just say, "I wish she would have worn more clothes, I wish she would have sang more Hannah songs, and I wish she didn't puke during the third song!" After saying that, the girls had a wonderful time and loved every minute!! That is what matters! Will we do it again? NO!

To start off the night, we dressed up in matching headbands, and did makeovers!!! Then we had a fabulous dinner at Chili's!!!

New Orleans!

Last week, I was able to visit my sister, Bryn, and her new baby, Easton, in New Orleans! He is cutest little thing ever! Here are a bunch of pictures of our trip!

Family Trip with the Newbold's

In September, we had a little family trip, to St. George, with Bryce's family. It was a lot of fun! We swam, saw Annie, and visited the temple! I love that my kids are creating great family memories! Cutest girls ever! :)

Dance is Back!!

We have started up dance again this year. Now everything is back in session!! School, and Dance!! Let the crazy schedules begin! :)

O's Back to School!

In September, O started her second year of Preschool! I can't believe how much she has grown, and where the time goes! It is crazy!

Amy's Graduation Party!

Amy, my best friend from high school graduated from the U this summer!! I am so proud of her and all she has accomplished. We had a graduation party for her at my house. When we graduated from high school, we went to Hawaii, so I thought why not bring Hawaii to her this time?! We had a Luau and lots of fun! And of course, I forgot to take pictures of all the cute decor! ugh! Anyway, it was super cute, and super fun! Congrats Amy!

Swiss Days!

Swiss Days this year was a blast!! My friend Jamie pulled some strings, and got a room at Zermatt for FREE!!!! Thanks Jamie!!! Besides Jamie's weird sleeping rituals, it was super fun! hahaha ;)

Family Night Cooking 101!

Last night for family night, we had some cooking fun!! First we made spaghetti.

The girls threw noodles up on the wall to see if they were done! They loved that part!

Second we made the sauce and cut the bread.
Third, we made zucchini bread!!! WE LOVE ZUCCHINI BREAD!! Here is the recipe if you want to try it!

3 eggs
1 cup oil
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
3 tsp vanilla
2 cups grated zucchini
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3 tsp cinnamon

Beat eggs until light and fluffy, add oil beat another 30 sec. add gradually while beating: brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, & zucchini. Sift and add flour, soda, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon
Grease 2 loaf pans
bake 325 for 50-60 min.

Yesterday, we went fishing up at Ferron Reservoir. The girls absolutely LOVED every second of it! If I could have frozen time, I would have.....the simplest things sometimes bring the greatest pleasures!

Radio Disney!

Tuesday, we went down town to the Radio Disney Show!! The girls had a blast! There were all sorts of things going on and best of all it was all free!!! What more can you ask for?! Thanks for the invite Marcie!!! The girls with their flower balloons!

Easton Mark Allred!!

YEAH!!! My Little Nephew, EASTON MARK ALLRED, was born August 6th!!! What a great anniversary present for Bryn and Mark!!! hahaha! He weighed 9 lbs 1 oz and measured 21" Isn't he a cutie!! Seriously!?! Congrats guys!! I can't wait to see him! :)


P.S. I am totally the favorite aunt already! I guessed his weight exactly, and came up with his name....what more can I say?!!! FAVORITE!!!

Carnival / Fund Raiser!!!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to a carnival/ fund raiser, for my cousin and son!! (Jared and Dwayne) It was so much fun. I was amazed at their loving community. They really came together and pulled off an awesome day! Everything there was donated and all of the profits went directly to Jared and his family! The events included: Lunch, Auction, Car show, Motor cycle show, Face painting, fishing pond, bean bag toss, bounce house, Princess pictures, baked foods sale, etc..!!! Isn't that awesome? K, being so still, getting her face painted.

We had our great friends from Huntington stay with us couple of weeks ago! We always love it when they come! We went to Herriman beach and had a blast! Thanks for coming guys!!

FIRST Day of FIRST Grade!!!

K started first grade!!!!! she absolutely LOVES it!!!! I would be lying if I said that I wasn't sad. I did shed a few tears, but those were short lived!!!! I know, I know that sounds really mean, but K was READY to start school!! She is sooo smart and always wanting to be involved with everything!!! She enjoys reading and playing school. She just can't get enough of it! (I'm sure that will change in the future!) She is full of energy and life! She loves her friends and constantly wants to play with all of them! Therefore, school is the best place for her!!! hahaha
You might ask what O does while K is gone......? Well, she makes herself a bed right in the middle of the family room and watches what ever show SHE wants!!!! O actually really misses "Bug" and is constantly asking when she will come home. It's really kind of sad. I keep calling little friends to come play and keep her busy!
