Let the Christmas Parties Begin!

We are so lucky to have so much family near by! We are able to enjoy parties all season long!

Kaybree had some awesome BINGO cards!!!!

Christmas Recitals!

The girls did such a good job with both of their Christmas Recitals!
They have loved being in tumbling and have both come such a long way this year!
They were both in the same dance class this Christmas. They danced to "Run Run Rudolph" I love watching them do their thing! So fun!

Temple Square and The Marriott!

We had so much fun seeing the light down town this year!
There is no better way to get into the Christmas Spirit than seeing the lights at Temple Square!

Of course we had to have some HOT CHOCOLATE as we braved the COLD!
We decided to stay down town at the Marriott and enjoy the entire night! The girls absolutely LOVED it!

Off Track and Ready for Christmas!

While we were off track in November, we started our Christmas traditions! We also had the first snow fall!
First snow fall for 2011!
We wrote our letters to Santa
Kaybree wants: Mega Make-up Kit, Password Journal, Initial Tote
Oakley wants: Mini Locker, Password Journal, My Salon Doll
We made some chocolate peppermint cake!
Then mailed off those Santa letters!

Happy Halloween! (just a few months late!)

Yes, I know it's been a LONG time! Here is a small glimpse of our Halloween fun! I bet you never would have guessed that I gave birth to a cat and a witch! Here they are!
Aren't they the cutest ever?!
There is a witch and a cat on my front porch!
We had to seat belt the pumpkin into the car because it wouldn't fit in the trunk!
The ginormous pumpkins that Bryce's dad grew!

1st Day of School!

Yes that is right, we have already started our first day of school! Kaybree is so excited to be a third grader this year, and Oakley is just as excited to begin first grade! Oakley is going to be doing things a little different this year...she is going to be learning Chinese! Oakley was accepted into the Chinese Immersion program at our school! So if you see her, and can't understand a thing she is saying, just smile and say "Ni Hao!" (knee how)

Swimming!

What is summer without swimming? Well, we wouldn't know! We have been doing lots of swimming this year! We are loving our new rec center!

Kaybree going off the high dive!!
The girls in the lazy river!
Swimming lessons! My girls are already pretty good swimmers, but I like putting them in swim lessons as a refresher each year! YAY for swimming!

More Boating Fun!

What have we been doing all summer? Boating! here are just a few pics...more to come!

Summer Bake Sale!

The girls have been asking me all summer to have a bake sale like the one we did last year. I finally committed! The girls sold mint brownies, rice krispy treats, cookies, and drinks! Our cute neighbors joined us with some fabulous cake pops! The kids banked...they totaled $86.00! They were beyond thrilled!

4th of July at Lake Powell!

I don't know why, but I really didn't take many pictures of our Lake Powell trip! :( We had a blast doing all the Lake Powell musts...water skiing, wake boarding, knee boarding, tubing, water weenie rides, & Rainbow Bridge!! Just too fun!
Rainbow Bridge 2011!
The dinosaur print by the bridge! Grandpa poured water in it and then got in trouble. Apparently the used to do that in the olden days, but no longer allow it! Oops!
Because the 4th of July was on a Monday, we traveled home that day. I think we will do that from now on because our neighbor puts on an annual firework display. It was like one I've never seen before! He said he spent over $1200 of fireworks this year! It was amazing! Thanks Conners!

Field Trips!

Both the girls had field trips to finish up their school year! I am very grateful to be able to go with my girls on these fun adventures!

Oakley's class went to the zoo! I love that she is still at the age where she loves looking at all the animals!
Watch out Oakley!
Oakley and I watched the Apes!
We watched the bird show and then got our picture with the Eagle!
