Twilight Depression!

Recently, I read all three of Stephanie Meyers Twilight books. It took me two weeks, but I couldn't put them down! Now that I am done, I'm in a Twilight depression! I can't get enough of it! I dream about the books, and when I'm lost deep in thought, I'm thinking about the books! I think I'm insane! I only just read them because I thought I wouldn't like them because they're about vampires...I don't do science fiction, but I LOVE these books! I'm so engrossed that I even compare Bryce to Edward. The other day, we were buying a new rake...I was on a different aisle than Bryce. He said, "Come here Slick!" to me. My response was, "Edward would never talk to Bella like that!" I think I have officially lost my mind! I'm not even sure who I like more, Jacob or Edward...I'm totally torn! On one hand I want Bella to be with Jacob just because it's more logical. It works out better for Bella and her family...On the other hand, I like Edward because they're so in love...All of you who have read these books, please leave a comment and tell me who you like...Jacob or Edward? It's official, I've posted about it now...I'm crazy!

I'm definitely an Edward fan. I have this beautiful image of him in my head. If it makes you feel any better I read the books in about a week. Everything in my house was a mess, my kids weren't dressed til right before Dave would come home (just so he thought I did at least something!), it was kind of a sad week to say the least!! I'm definitely obsessed! BTW: Did you know they're making a movie? I don't think there is any guy out there that could do Edward justice! :)

I have never read them but both my sisters have read them all and me and my hairstylest were talking about them just a day ago and she said she is so ashamed that she has read them and is soooo into them and that sh has a crush on a young vampire. Maybe I need to read them because everyone I know that has read them has the same repsonse that they cant get enough of them....

Brittany you are so funny! I like Jacob! I was grounded from the third book for a week and just about lost it. I don't think the grounding worked like Jer thought it would! This Fall the 4th book comes out!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE those books!! I also got nothing done while I was reading them. I would stay up till 2 or 3 in the morning cause I couldn't put them down. Aaron wasn't too happy with that!:) Anyway I am so for Edward!! I am thinking (wishing) that she will somehow find a way to change him back to a human!! I guess we will just have to suffer until august. I have already pre-ordered the 4th book. Pathetic, I know, but last time it took me forever to find Eclipse. I just finished her new book The Host. It was good, but harder to get into.

Okay, I've already commented on these books but you know how much I love them. I have read them through twice and I also can't put them down. The house is a mess, kids are hungry, everything!! I really like Edward. I just think that is how it should be. She totally loves him and even though she loves Jacob also, it just isn't the same love! Edward is just so sweet to her and will love her no matter what. Like when she kissed Jacob, Edward knew and he understood. Even though I was mad at Bella for doing that!! I love him!! She needs to marry him and become a vampire or I will just cry! I can't wait till August 2nd!!

I'm about 1/3 of the way through New Moon and so right now I'm a Jacob fan. I don't know why but I totally picture David Archuletta as Jacob.... even though he's short and a little stout and Jacob is not. I'm also a little ticked off that Edward let Bella get in so deep without realizing that some day things would have to change. Don't tell me what happens, I don't get a chance to read very often so it will probably take me another week or two to finish it.

I too was obessed with this books and I am almost done with her new book "The Host" it is seriously just as good as Twlight _ I live and breathe and dream this book, so you will have to read this one before the new book - and I am Edward all the way!

I started the first book on Wednesday, I also thought I wouldn't like it. I am completely addicted! I read until two in the morning last night and almost finished the book. I can't wait for the movie to come out (hopefully they do a good job). Although I have only recently been introduced to Jacob, I would most definitely vote for Edward!

Hi Princapaya! I really love Edward. I feel like Jacob is too Immature for her. I just really love Edward! I understand totally about husband and Edward thing. I have a friend who taught me well to use it to my advantage. I say,"Hmmm... Edward would want to cook me dinner tonight." On the other hand I would really hate it if a guy just watched me eat and he himself did not. I would be wondering if he thought I was a unhealthy eater. Hmmm... so much to think about.

Didn't we JUST have a conversation about NOT reading these books because they were about vampires? I think I'm officially one of 5 people in the world who still hasn't read them and knows NOTHING about them! I'm glad you liked them though!

I'm so glad I read your blog. I Googled "Twilight" and "Depression" because I've been feeling so sad lately after finishing the third book. The 4th book should arrive any day and I'm hoping when I finish it, the pull of these books will be overwith. It feels better to know I'm not the only one who feels like she's going crazy, but I wonder what it is about these books!!?!?!? Edward is a fictional character for crying out loud, and a mythical one at that!!! The only thing I can think of is that this book is uncovering some very strong emotions in us girls and those potent feelings are so real that they're giving "life" to the fictional, unrealistic characters of the Twilight series. Usually I am very guarded about feeling these types of emotions, but my defenses were down because of the inocuous nature of these books written for teenagers...Edward and Bella snuck into my psyche when I wasn't looking!
